General Manager
 

The General Manager is appointed by the directors of RAL, in accordance with the company's working arrangements and shall operate in accordance with the defined terms of reference for the role. Key responsibilities in respect of certification activities

  • Respond to enquiries from and negotiations with potential customers for placing of contract for certification services with RAL

  • Provision of such equipment and facilities necessary to carry out assessment work in an independent/impartial manner

  • Ensure all necessary testing, inspection, evaluation and certification work is carried out to meet customer requirements

  • Ensure that all controls in respect of impartiality and independence are in place and being adhered to for all assessment work carried out

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to all aspects of RAL certification activities
